A new decade. . . six weeks later

It's been a great six weeks so far. I have a new job doing fun stuff. I hope it continues to be fun. I have wonderful friends and a great family. This new year/decade is going to be a blast. Why? Because I decided so. 

I did have to take a few days out of this so-far-amazing year to be a grown-up. And it sucked. My darling friend has strength we all can draw from. She had to say goodbye 3 months and 24 days after she said I do and it was heart-wrenching.  I hope and pray that this new path of life will be wonderful and adventurous. She deserves it.

I learned I should have been a better sorority sister, a better friend, and more forgiving in college. The brilliant thing is that it's not to late. So now this new year now has a new purpose. And it's going to be even better expected.
